People think they know what features they really don't need on a camera they
really have little idea especially in this burgeoning digital technology..
Its always what you don't think. Other people sure as hell aren't going to
know what features I'm going to use or not use on a camera body. If I don't
know they sure don't.
With no Live View I'd get no focus peaking and 10x magnification.
I've never used stuff like this so I'm in to position to say I'd not learn
to love them or hate them. I can say I'd not learn to love them if I had
them removed from my camera options to shave off some money off the thing...
When I got my digital Nikon D's they had a dozen features I'd not heard of
and didn't seem to be a thing I'd need the very same features which later
become my favorite parts of the cameras. I think the camera companies do
have some idea what we might need to have in a camera when they build one
maybe give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a shot before we
write them off.. These features.
People think pros shoot at manual all the time disabling A and P and S and
auto focus. Pros use everything all the time.
That little light which turns on and helps your camera focus in very low
light? We don't use that.

I'd KILL to be able to shoot live footage with my Leica M glass.
I'd love it more than I'd love an ice cream soda right this very minute.

I'm glad " 'Leica M Photography in its purest form" no longer means CCD
sensors because that's vacuous. That's shooting oneself in the foot.
Purity of image is great but at the cost of any real camera speed at all
forget it.
