Yes. Use the tools that suit.

In film days, I used 24x36, 24x60, on through all sizes of MF and on to 4x5 
and 8x10. Obviously for different reasons. For commercial photography, the 
biggest struggle was always getting enough depth of field. Now, finally, 
with m43 those concerns are largely gone but I hardly do commercial work 
anymore.

Same now. I like shooting Leica and therefore will continue using f/1.4 and 
faster lenses on them as long as I can focus them. When travelling and 
wanting a wider range of angles of view, I'll take m43 as they have really 
matured. Occasionally, I'll still haul out the Canon and TS-E lenses or 
something else. Image quality is fine with any of the formats. Of course, 
more is always better, but it rarely makes the picture better.

Everything has its purpose. BTW, the only thing that actually bugged me 
about the M8 was the filter thing. The cropped angle of view didn't matter, 
except I didn't have a 35/1.4 equiv., but I did have a wonderful 100/1.4 
equiv.
