Subject: [Leica] Friday Flora - My take on the Pampas Grass

This scene is what really showed me the potential of the Monochrom. I took
two exposures--the one I posted, and another that unedited, looked more
like yours. The amazing thing was that in RAW, I could make either one look
like the other. Or anything in between. You can pull and push the files
like taffy, beyond the point of unacceptable grain, banding or blowout on
most other cameras, and they still looked great. As long as you don't hit
the white "ceiling," you can do almost anything you want.
