Good for you.   We've had iPads in the house for several years. I always
thought the regular one was too dense for my taste; then came the new
mini.   At Best Buy, I opened my website on the Retina Mini, saw the
picture, and knew that was the one for me.

Add to that, it sits nicely protected cross-wise in my Sling bag with a
camera and two extra lenses.   It will also slide into the pocket of cargo
shorts or a blazer jacket. Wow!

I can't remember an electronic purchase that turned out so useful as this
has.

BTW, while the camera is not great, it isn't bad, so you might as well get
PS express for it so you can do some basic editing ;-)

My favorite app of course is FaceTime to keep in touch with my Grandkids.
Not like being there, but dang near.
