As I recall that cactus retains its blooms for about a day, the next they are gone. We had one in the yard in Arizona. It bloomed on my wife?s birthday. I snapped a few images before we drove down to Tucson for a baseball game but resolved to really work them the next morning when there was more time. But when I came out in the morning the flowers were just littler puddles laying over the cactus. I love the delicacy of the colors which you have rendered quite wonderfully. Thank you for sharing.
