Great shots Howard.  Love this series.  Wish I had better luck with Hummers 
like you have.

Hi Luggers,

After 12 days away I got back to the hummingbird nest this morning.

As I was setting up the Nikon D800E with the 300 f4.0 AFS and 1.7 extender
I thought that the Anna Mama was back on the nest:

Then the bird on the nest stirred and I could see there were two birds there.

In the 12 days I was away the babies had grown a lot:

Busy Mama showed up to feed the babes:
