Most people in those countries cannot afford a car, but can afford a 2-wheeled vehicle. India and China produce some very inexpensive models made for domestic sale. The narrow roads and crowded conditions in many Asian cities make it hard to get around in a car anyway, and the year-round warm weather makes it easier to use bikes as normal transport (Unlike most parts of the USA where cold winters with icy roads make it uncomfortable and unsafe half the year). -- Chris Crawford Fine Art Photography Fort Wayne, Indiana 260-437-8990 http://www.chriscrawfordphoto.com My portfolio http://www.facebook.com/pages/Christopher-Crawford/48229272798 Become a fan on Facebook On 4/9/14 5:49 PM, "Tina Manley" <images at comporium.net> wrote: >PESO: > >One thing that amazed me about Vietnam was the number of people who rode >motorbikes.
