The principal challenges with that old gear typically are:

- mastering film loading (a PITA with LTM).

- taking exposure readings with a separate lightmeter and then re-setting
the lens aperture and camera shutter speed (after winding the film, of
course, never before film wind) for shots in changing light.

- checking focus in the rangefinder half of the eyepiece before re-framing
in the frameline-less viewfinder half of window. Focus accuracy with a fast
50mm is pretty critical.

- pulling out the collapsible lens before shooting anything. A collapsed
50mm just won't work right.
