Subject: [Leica] Syria in the 40s

I was in Syria a lot in the 1980s and 90s, photographed the entire country
with Leicas. Incredibly photogenic places and people and one of the most
sophisticated societies I've ever experienced. Quite glorious.

Sadly, it's been controlled by a gang of murderous bastards for decades and
they'd rather see the place destroyed than give up power. Very sad indeed.
