Subject: [Leica] Was there a thread where some vintages of M8 batteries had "short life" on M9 cameras?

Was there a thread where some vintages of M8 batteries had "short life"
on M9 cameras?

And it was worsened in cold weather?

Seems like I have one battery, that might be M8 vintage, where I had it
fully charged and it showed "low battery" after walking around for 45
minutes this morning, and it was 5 deg C or so.

I swapped it out, shot for an hour, and swapped it back in, and it seems
to be working again, showing 75%.

Any way to make the battery do better?

regards
Vick
