Laurence, your Victor seems to be a great man in furry confrontations, but 
I'd have to say his nameless Irish cousin (Plank, perhaps? Certainly not 
Chip) also does excellently against your invader's Irish cousin Mus Musculus 
Hibernicus.

You can tell he's Irish as there's a brightness to the eyes :-)

For a mouse, he was a truly great poser and kept dead still......
