Douglas,
This time of the year outdoor critters come inside. Chipmunks deposit 
acorns under our couch cushions, squirrels nest in our attic. But the 
worst are the field mice that make our kitchen their home. Since our 
cat Cookie died my wife takes her own revenge for kitchen depredations. 
Cookie was 22 and a great mouser. My wife is not as good but Victor 
helps.
