Thanks for the suggestion Mitch, but this simply is not the case. On all the 
images in question (literally several hundred, and all GH-2 files from 
various shoots) the saturation had been set to -100. This did not appear in 
the history panel, and certainly was not done by me. Nor could it be reset 
from within the right hand panel. I had already tried the Color rest, the 
history panel and even sliding the slider back to zero (which was not 
possible).
