Subject: [Leica] Auto ISO

In a recent thread, Mark Rabiner cleverly argued for a new approach to vary
exposure, that raised eyebrows, but has received support and accolades.

Rather than varying f stop or time of exposure Mark pushed the idea of
varying ISO settings using AUTO ISO. Ideal for many conditions this is
being widely used. Fast digital cameras NOW have various AUTO ISO systems
built into the program options.

I generally shoot fast glass at full aperture, in aperture priority mode.

I would like to learn more about Auto ISO mode, its use, strengths and
weaknesses, impact on the results...from Mark and other

friends here, so please don't hesitate,

thanks, Steve
