I even like noise. Which is digital grain. If I don't see a hint of it I get
suspicious like its been all filtered out and I start to wonder how much
fine detail had also been filtered out with it.
Just a hint of grain / noise and I feel like I'm looking at a real picture.

Stuff from sheet film all bets are off. With a 10x Schneider loupe I still
am not going to see any grain on an 11x14 print shot with 4x5" iso 400 speed
film. Can't see nothing!
