When I began working for a commercial studio, in 1960,
85 % of all the advertising work was shot on 8x10 film.

By the time I left in 65 or 66
It was 85% 4x5

By the mid to late 70s 120 was doing a lot of advertising and catalog work.

Why? Film and Optical improvements.
