Marc, bathing may be discouraged but there seems to be a few people swimming
there - in pics 3 and 4 - or am I imagining things?

BTW as a swimmer I'd find it hard NOT to swim there!

The Benijo beach is located on the coast of the hamlet that gives it its
name, to the North of the District of Anaga (near
Alm?ciga),
in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Tenerife island, The
Canaries, Spain).
The soil is of black volcanic sand and gravel. Bath is discouraged because
of its strong waves. (Wikipedia sic)

C&C welcome.
Regards,
Marc
