Not if you have another Mac ;-) Also even paying for them they are usually a
download (inc full CS6 Master) these days....

Getting Lightroom onto a machine without a CD/DVD drive is a bit of a pain.

You might find yourself taking a peek at Aperture. I have both Lightroom and
Aperture (LR on my stationary) ... I can't really say with any conviction
which one is my favorite. Aperture works better with the Air (for me). 12 of
one, a dozen of the other.
