Hi Jean-Michel,
I very much like this photograph and I think it will stand the challenges of
time as a classic children photograph of 2012 and longer.

Even though they're looking into the camera there appears a complete
"comfort level with it happening!" Not like those constantly shown news
photos of kids dying, dead, starving and or whatever ravages of their lives
they try to live through! Each one is smiling. A touch of shyness note: The
little girl second top left . Look at her eyes and how her face is kind of
turned away from the camera, but she is using her peripheral vision to see
"the camera-man and his camera." Still wanting to make sure she is in the
picture!

A rather interesting kind of intimacy... she kind of doesn't want to be full
face beaming into the lens, but she still wants to see what's happening.
Kind of cute really. :-)

These are the little things we as photographers rarely see at the "click
moment" simply because of all the beaming smiling faces of the others. This
is my kind of children picture... as they should be! Happy and un-afraid of
strangers and bad guys with guns who kill so many indiscriminately in so
many countries about the world!

Put this in an exhibition in a 30" X 40" inch size and it will draw crowds
of people smiling and enjoying it as an award winning photograph. It's a
clean feel good photo of happy smiling kids! Just got to love it!. :-)

Good on you Jean-Michel as it's an award winning kids photo! And yes, sure
as heck one I wish I could say I shot it!

cheers,
Dr. ted :-)
