the sensor is made by the old kodak group so leica is still tied to that
technology, the big questions when is leica moving to cmos? cmos give you
all the high iso, live view, movie,etc...

as to why you need a bw software filter with a bw camera, beats me. all i
know u need to pull out your old bw filters (yellow,green, red) and start
remembering true b w shooting (except jim s)
