Subject: [Leica] Tripods

I haven't seen any new tripods I like as much as a Marchioni Tilt-All, 
especially for architecture (because of the separate three axis adjustments) 
or the Welt Safe-Lok with a Leitz ball head that I use for fast changing 
situations.  The flip levers that lock the legs are so convenient and quick 
to use.  

I've been using this one at work for 38 years:

Whatever tripod I use, I can't stand quick-release plates.  I don't like to 
add more weight and bulk to a camera.
