with my M9 I enjoy manual focus, however a major reason to consider the X 
Pro-1 would be for the auto focus it provides....

for me to  buy it would have to provide rapid sure focus/minimal shutter 
lag...

so I continue to be very interested in that capability Gerry,

and needing badly to answer that question.
