Not so much the 75mm, but the f1.4 is a challenge to focus properly.

The 90/2 is a much better bet and provides a tighter frame than the 75.  
And there are many choices of 90, from the razor sharp ASPH to the 
creamy bokeh non-APSH versions.

And if you want a classical look, there is the Summarex.
