Hi Aram,

Our soil is so poor that they truly do struggle.  I have only seen two 
clumps in my yard, and I mowed one of them down.  These won't last too long.

My philosophy of lawn care is, "if it is green it is grass; mow it".  We 
have many violets, a lot of clover, etc.  Though, in past years, I have 
seeded and fertilized, it always ends up as a crude mixture.
