If I was going to spend $11K on a digital MF camera I would spend another
$2k and get the Hasselblad H4D-31.

The genesis of the camera seems to be that Pentax finally finished it so
that it can make the company more appealing to Hoya, but then it got wildly
popular (well, wildly is a relative term in medium format world). Now
another owner later, they are certainly taking their time releasing new
lens. There is one wide lens already: 25mm which is even wider than the new
Leica S2 35mm but one will have to make do with the older 645 or 6x7 lens
in the mean time. The performance varies so you may have to try several
lens to get one that performs well, but they are dirt cheap though,
relatively speaking.
