Subject: [Leica] What if digital hadn't come along?

If I was still shooting film regularly, I would use my F3, which has been a
great camera, motor can be added or removed as the mood fits, and is a very
durable camera.

I lusted after the F6 for it a bit...until I saw the price. Even now a good
used F6 commands upwards of 2 grand at KEH. I got my F100 for $395 in like
new condition. And the F100 takes AA batteries while the F6 needs the harder
to find and much pricier CR123A, unless you get the battery grip which is
huge and adds to the weight. I did love that 'quiet shutter mode' on the F6
though. Just didn't think it was worth the extra $$$. You makes your
choices:) They're
both great machines.
