We tried, Richard. On Monday and Tuesday evening the sunset was quite red
giving great light - but there just isn't much water flowing over Horsetail
Fall. Literally there's a trickle. Through a long lens or binoculars we
could see the flow over the precipice, but there wasn't enough to make a
spray.

So for us: no firefall.

If the lack of snow continues things are going to be grim in Yosemite this
summer. It's currently the 2nd driest winter on record. Could get worse.
