Sonny,

I have the 5D MkII but have never shot video with it (no interest unless 
a saucer flies over).  But, from reading some internet posts, isn't the 
attraction that you can use 35mm still lenses with wide apertures, e.g., 
2.8?  I took that to imply that video camera lenses must have much less 
ability to control DOF?  I think this was from Vincent Laforet's blog.  
Just wondering.
