The height from the mount to the windows is the same on film and
digital leicas Geoff - the problem is that the throat of the M8/9 is
narrower than for the film Leicas and the additional cams behind the
mount of the DR do not fit in the throat of the M8/9 in the far focus
range, only in the near focus range.
