Emanuel,

I will second your comments on the Summarit.  I had one in LTM and it did 
not make a good impression, either mechanically or optically.  I traded it 
away many years ago.

I just searched for a better lens for my IIIf, and could not locate a Leica 
or Nikon LTM without problems.  I found a Canon 50/1.4, and I am just 
getting accustomed to it, but it appears to be a better choice, at least in 
my case.

But, I don't own an M3.
