Mail was not to blame
I spent an hour this morning on the phone with the technies at my
provider, they couldn't find out what was wrong, but I've discovered
since then that they scrap any plain text line that starts a message
and contains a colon ... also reported on various fora - HTML is not
affected, so I suspect the lug is plain text.

I'll have a word with them first thing tomorrow again as Jim, Quan,
Chris and other luggers' post keep landing deprived of the links ...
sorry folks, I really would like to see your art.

Thanks for the input Nathan and Lluis.
BTW Nathan, my OS here at home is 10.5.8, but I sure should update ...

Philippe back at Metz
