No ones said that! But the regretting of not using lens shades. I've been for the most part not using shades all that much over the past few years and not regretting it. And this is in the context of the instant feedback I get in the back of the camera. And the fact that I am processing the image often within hours of taking it. And showing it to people. If there was something funny going on I think I'd be right on top of it. -- Mark R. > From: Lottermoser George <imagist3 at mac.com> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Sat, 13 Aug 2011 10:43:10 -0500 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] Noctilux versions AND LENS SHADES !!!! :-) > > On Aug 13, 2011, at 10:28 AM, Vick Ko <vick.ko at sympatico.ca> wrote: > >> Isn't this always true? >> >> "...Just a lot easier to get the max quality out of the lens, ..... at the >> time the shutter fires. >> >> >> On 8/13/2011 11:16 AM, George Lottermoser wrote: >>> ...Just a lot easier to get the max quality out of the lens, by using a >>> shade, > > In reference to the use of lens shades > It has always been true - for me. > > I've never regretted using a shade. > Though I have regretted not using a shade. > > George > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
