What is to admire is the calculations of the old Engyneers, actually the computers made thousend of calculations, I thik that this people take decisions concerning quite large tolerance zones to have an overall good balance, of course not extremely good as a modern lens. The perfection is a great achiefvement of our times but this should not distract us of the authentical value of an image.
