Mr. Kobayashi is uninterested in doing anything digital and apparently wasn't overjoyed with the Epson experience as per conversations with Tom. There were rumours that Nikon my try something, but if it ever were true it's now on hold for a while. Nikon suffered a lot from the quake/tsunami. M10 with new sensor (Sony?) will be the next thing. Maybe a Fuji X200 with interchangeable lenses? Reumours and speculations. Meanwhile, the M8,9 and available lenses work just fine. The 'next thing' isn't actually necessary at all.
