I am sure some will be used. Cameras like this are for people who are rich,
not collectors. If you already have a jet the price of one of these is
negligible. If you are rich you do what you like/have time for.
My brother belongs to an ancient golf club in Scotland. One of the members
is from the midwestern US and flies over to Scotland to play in his jet. He
likes the club and their competition format...
