I think you understand.... the SWC GG back is pretty available for about
$130.... EBay....  The Flex GG back is only available with the gadget.
Flex can be sold off more immediately. IF it works... 

Ask Jim for the practical differences... I'm sure he would know ....

I am thinking the Fresnel may be different, given how the SWC Biogon is a
very different lens than the retrofocus lenses of the 500 family....

I don't know the difference. The Alpa will take any H V mount back such as
the flex's; even a film back, of course. 

So are you suggesting I get a SWC GG and then be able to sell the Flex? If
so that seems to be an interim solution with no change in my interface with
the Alpa and netting less for the flex. Unless I'm missing something...
