Y'no, I got a free soft realease with my subscription to the slick 
Leica mag. Put it on the camera, pressed it a couple of times, and 
put it in a drawer where it can live forever. Gee, with the partially 
recessed button on the camera, I can apply steady pressure without 
jarring the camera. With the "soft" release, the camera is much less 
steady. I think it's a fraud.
