Subject: [Leica] Erwin Puts new Leica Compendium

Yes! I see that Geoff and I also am no business man nor do I know the ins
and outs of publishing.  A new edition is usually an updated one but perhaps
there are new editions which just mean they made more and didn't really
tweak it.
Also come to think of it there is a Paperback option for a newer edition.
For people who can afford a 6 grand Leica lens but not a hard cover book.

too copies could perhaps be gamboled upon but a second hundred Nick the
Greek says wont pan out. That seems logical.
I wonder about the electronic edition option? As one may not rule out
anything. I for one would love to have it in hand hard cover.

Basically publishing is a complex business which I'd love to know more
about.
Perhaps I'll get a book on it tonight I'm heading over the the Barnes and
noble for a biscotti. They are being bought out by another company and I
thought they were one of the more bigger solid book companies. Borders we
thought was going under but that rumor was exaggerated. They live on.
