If the camera is plumb to the ground, the effect is somewhat mitigated.

If you point it up or down, watch out.....it is just plain horrid.... from
an architectural standpoint.....

I have found images from moving slit type cameras to be disturbing, unless
displayed in a circular mount that you stand almost in.
