Hi Ted,

Yes, you just have to 'start rooting around'. Pictures that I haven't 
looked at in years pop up. Start digging! :-) I guess they don't 
allow unattended digging in the National Archives.

I am also starting to digitize old family photos, quite a few of 
which are from the 19th century. Again, a copy stand works very well.
