Hi Leo,

Thanks for the NEC Links. Others are recommending the NEC too, so I will 
take a serious look at the 24" and 27" models.

I did go to the local Apple store to ask about PC compatibility, and was 
told it might work, with 3rd party  cables/adapters but that compatibility 
was not guaranteed.  I don't believe the salesman knew much about this 
topic.
