Yes, you might have some trouble getting there but if you make it you will have some great opportunities to take some really unique photos of Paris. The last time I went I stayed near the Opera. Find a hotel on the subway route. Take warm clothes. Always order the daily special. Have fun! Take extra passport photos, you will need them to get a week long pass to the subway.
