I was not referring to lenses only.
George often refers to systems I think, this is what it is all about.
Losing the VF and getting not so luminous lenses with a change in DoF  
into the bargain is the price to pay when you enter the MTF world when  
I write.
Doesn't this affect photography?
Of course the wallet remains thicker, and there's still room in the  
pocket for the gear, value/quality wise they're fine with me too  ;-)
