At age 8 I had a Kodak 120 folding camera, using 120 film (620?). I
would take the film up to our local drugstore to be developed. I pulled
it out the other day and looked at it - made in Wetzlar in the 1930's,
brought back from Germany by my dad from WWII. Along with a French
Lebel rifle. He said don't ever shoot that thing, it will blow up in
your face. I shot plenty with the Kodak but heeded his advice with the
rifle. I also have a Hawkeye from that era and a really bizarre 3D
camera that my grandmother used.
