  His pumping, hypnotic rhythms without key changes had 
an enormous influence on the British blues and R&B (and 
later, progressive/rock) scene in the sixties and 
seventies, too.

To name but a few: Alexis Korner, Graham Bond, Zoot 
Money, Juicy Lucy (massive hit with Who do you Love), 
Rolling Stones (heavy influence in Not Fade Away), Led 
Zeppelin, The Who, The Yardbirds, The Animals and 
countless others.
