Vick, wait until they release the FLE 35/1.4 Aspherical :-)

That would be a true collector's item!

AFAIK, the "problem" with the original non-FLE version is focus shift at
close distance. So I'd imagine that if you shoot a lot at F4 at close
distance that it would be a problem. I usually shoot either wide open or
crank it all the way to F8 so focus shift is not an issue for me.
