Excellent photos.  The few times I do panos I mount the camera 
vertically also.  Here is one from Ghost Ranch, NM.  As I recall, it was 
a Canon RTS and 25mm lens with Ektachrome VS, on a Kiwi pano tripod head 
and Photomerge.
