Subject: [Leica] OT : Tripod recommendations

I think the material you are touching is a big deal.
Wood over carbon over aluminum by a long shot.
An expensive camera on a cheep tripod is a dead giveaway.
A Pentax Spotmatic on a well chosen tripod impresses me.
The opposite doesn't.
