I am not aware of anybody who has used one disliking the body design. The 
ergonomics are excellent and the controls super. Some may not like the 
styling, I am not that big a fan of the styling myself, but my only 
complaint on my R8 is that the mode/power dial is moved by the strap whilst 
carrying it, other than that it is a better designed camera than every Canon 
I have used, and than most Nikons too.
