An R10 based on the R8/9 body would work just fine for me also, as long as 
it was full frame and had a bright view finder.

As I'm not a big autofocus fan = no problem.
The S2 looks more like an R8/9 than any other SLR out there;
and I love the look and feel of R8/9 = no problem.

obviously everyone's looking for different things in their:
cameras
cars
bicycles
phones
et al

?just say'n'
the little Leica Camera company
having hit a home run with M9 and new glass
a base hit with the S2
will
sooner or later
have to address the 24x36 DSLR hole in its lineup.
